Living arrangements
The living conditions in Lircay are almost certainly not the same as what you are used to at home. We have made an effort to make you feel comfortable, providing good beds, clean bathrooms etc. but for instance while working in remote areas or during a two day hike there is no such thing as hot water and electricity 24 hours a day.
During the time you will spend in the town of Lircay you are welcome to stay in our house near the centre of Lircay. The house lies near the river and has a spacious patio were you can sit out and enjoy the view of the town. There are also some helpful and hospitable Peruvians that will help you feel at home and make sure you have a pleasant stay. Of course this will also give you the possibility to improve your Spanish or Quechua.
Although we are looking into the possibility for volunteers to stay with a guest family or students, for practical reasons we now only offer group accommodation.
